BaFin's Selective Memory

Two firms act together to secure control of a German institution. Atticus and TCI for Deutsche Boerse??? Nope. Allianz and Tchibo for Beiersdorf. BaFin, the financial regulator up in arms today about the influence of hedge funds, back then took the Sgt. Schultz "I see nothing" approach.
