Mars buys private label pet food maker Doane
Mars beefing up (horsing up?) it's pet food business. Announced this morning the purchase of Doane Pet Care from Teachers Private Capital, the private equity arm of Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. No terms disclosed. Doane starting tender offer's for it's public debt.
